What to include in an enquiry

Advisory work is easier to scope when the starting point is clear. Useful context includes the technology areas concerned — infrastructure, cloud, security, software, integration or data — and whether the question is a decision to be made, a system to be assessed, or a proposal that needs a second opinion.

It also helps to know who inside the organisation owns the question, what has already been examined internally, and whether any external deadline, contract renewal or audit is shaping the timeline. Please do not send confidential system details, credentials or sensitive data in a first message; confidentiality terms are agreed before any material of that kind is exchanged.

How correspondence is handled

Messages are reviewed and answered in writing. If an enquiry falls outside the areas we advise on, we will say so directly rather than arrange a conversation that cannot lead anywhere useful. Information sent to us is treated in line with our Privacy Policy.
